235 cu. in. straght six
The early Chevy straight six was and is a work horse.
Tuned from the factory for torque and reliablity these engines would idle at 400 RPM and
had the grunt to power full boat Chevies (mine was a '58) and pickups of the day.
Add air and a modern alternator to these 3.8 litre engines for a smooth reliable
ride. Too cool!

348 - 409 Early big block
She's so fine my 409. The 348 and 409 engines were
actually designed for heavy truck duty, but boy did they move the full size Chevys of the
time! These brackets, in conjunction with the small block water pump pullyes provide
a wide mount solution for low hood clearance cars and pickups. dimension
