Engine Accessory Brackets

What is the hardest part about an engine swap or upgrade to air or power steering?  It's the brackets to hold the engine accessories like power steering, air conditioner compressor or alternators.  We feature brackets from Alan Grove Components.  Alan Grove is a premier off-the-shelf source of these brackets.

Just a few notes before you browse the components.  We have mostly organized the available off-the-shelf components by engine with the exception of power steering pump brackets.

Chevrolet Engines

There are many popular Chevrolet engines, we've divided them into the small block, big block, LT1 serpentine and other.  Other includes 348/409, 235 6cyl and more.  The big block and small block engines are divided into long and short water pumps.  To help clarify, the Chevrolet V-8 water pumps were generally short for 1968 and earlier cars and 1972 and earlier trucks.  After 1969 for cars and 1973 for trucks, General Motors used long water pumps.  If you're still not sure, a short water pump is 5 3/4" from the block surface to the fan mounting surface.  A long water pump is 7 1/4" from the block surface to the fan mounting surface.  This is true for small block and big block engines.

Ford Engines

We support the 289/302/351W with universal brackets to mount air conditioner compressor for either the passenger or driver side of the engine.

Power Steering

Power steering brackets have their own page.

Pulleys

You'll be happy to learn we can also handle stock design GM pulleys.
